Treatment Philosophy

I believe we are created for a purpose and that authentic connection and being understood are core needs.

The journey of life is complex; disruption, pain, and challenges are to be expected, but no one should feel as though they must journey alone.
As a professional counselor it’s my privilege to meet my clients where they are, understand both their difficulties and hopes, and begin to work together towards meaningful change.
Whether it’s emotional discomfort, relational challenges, or unwanted behaviors that are getting in the way of who and what you want to be, I believe that the process of therapy, in the context of a safe space, can offer much hope in and through life’s challenges.

I specialize in working with; adults and young adults facing personal or relational challenges, anxiety, depression, life transition, trauma, and family of origin issues.

Approach to Therapy

I take a relational approach to therapy, prioritizing our relationship first and foremost in order to promote growth. I consider you the expert of your own life and therefore my approach is collaborative, learning from and leaning into your needs and desires. I will take your lead and will move at the pace that is comfortable to you. I aim to be warm and honest in my feedback and offer a variety of perspectives and tools grounded in evidence and research.
